About Us

Vico Milano was born from the vision of Neri Baccheschi Berti — a deeply personal project shaped by his passion for design, travel, and timeless hospitality.

The interiors reflect his eclectic eye and layered aesthetic: custom-made furniture crafted in collaboration with Italian artisans, Moroccan Zellige tiles in the bathrooms, and original design pieces from the 1950s to the 1970s. Sculptural lighting from FLOS, Moooi, and other contemporary design houses adds depth and atmosphere, while richly hued velvets and textured materials bring warmth throughout.

You’ll find handpicked artworks sourced from around the world, and striking natural stone details — including green marble from Tinos, Greece — all contributing to a sense of place that feels both curated and quietly personal.

Every detail has been thoughtfully chosen to create a space that is refined, intimate, and unmistakably Vico.

Rooted in Milanese Heritage

Tucked inside a traditional Milanese condominio, Vico Milano offers a rare sense of privacy, authenticity, and charm. Once home to the iconic Legnano racing bicycle factory, the building is a quiet piece of the city’s industrial heritage — later transformed into a fashion showroom in the 1990s, and reimagined in 2019 as a boutique hotel.

Vico preserves the layered soul of the space while introducing a new kind of hospitality: personal, refined, and quietly bold. It doesn’t announce itself — it invites you in, like a well-kept local secret.
This is not just a hotel — it’s a Milanese home with a story to tell.
